A MAN accused of stealing a trailer worth over £4,000 has been further remanded in custody.

Colm McGuinness (29), of Willow Crescent, Ballykelly, is alleged to have stolen the trailer worth £4,050 from Cannings Plant Hire, Limavady, between November 15 last year and February 27 this year.

The defendant appeared before Coleraine Magistrates Court on Monday via video link from Maghaberry Prison.

A prosecutor said a full file in the case had been submitted to their department but it was in fact incomplete and she asked for more time in the case.

The matter has been further adjourned.
