A MAN accused of making threats to kill and threatening to damage property has been banned from an area of Portrush as part of bail conditions.

Andrew Meneice (34), of Glenbush Drive, Portrush, is charged in connection with July 28 this year.

He is accused of causing criminal damage to a front door; making a threat to kill a person; assaulting the same person; and attempting to damage a front door belonging to the person at Glentaisie Park in Portrush.

The defendant is also charged with threatening to damage the same property and a vehicle belonging to the person.

Meneice is also accused of attempting to damage the front door of another property at Glentaisie Park.

Coleraine Magistrates Court, sitting in Ballymena, heard the defendant is electronically tagged and has a curfew as part of bail conditions and is banned from entering Glentaisie Park.

The case was adjourned to September.
