A man has been charged with being disorderly in Portrush.

Shaun Dunlop (49), of Ramore Street in the town, is accused of being disorderly at Kerr Street on July 18 this year.

At Coleraine Magistrates Court on August 12 defence solicitor Sam Barr said he had written to the Public Prosecution Service to see if there could be an “alternative disposal” in the case.

The matter has been adjourned to September and the defendant was given £500 bail.
