Man is fined £300

1 Mins read

A MAN who failed to complete the remaining 58 hours of 180 hours of Community Service has instead been fined £300.

David Gazda (24), of Mount Street in Coleraine, had previously been given the Community Service in relation to driving whilst disqualified.

He was back at the town’s Magistrates Court on February 17 and admitted breaching the Community Service Order.

Defence barrister Alan Stewart said the driving whilst disqualified offence had occurred when the defendant was taking a friend’s vehicle to “polish and clean” it.
