A MAN has been jailed for five months for a string of offences including assaults and disorderly behaviour.

Mark Andrew Ellis (33) with various addresses on charge sheets including Glenvara Drive in Coleraine and Roemill Road in Limavady, appeared at Coleraine Magistrates Court on October 19.

A defence solicitor said the defendant had spent the equivalent of a five months sentence on remand.

He said the offences were a “hotch-potch” of disorderly behaviour and assaults on police.

In one of the cases, a prosecutor said the defendant was found “hiding in shrubbery”.
