A MAN has pleaded guilty to causing criminal damage to two vehicles belonging to, according to a defence lawyer, “a relative”.

John Crichton (41), of Killyvally Park in Garvagh, damaged a Vauxhall Astra and Citroen Berlingo van parked at the victim’s house on August 28 this year.

The defence barrister said the amount of damage caused was £1,500 after the vehicles were “keyed”.

At Coleraine Magistrates Court, sitting in Ballymena on Monday, the case was adjourned to December 21 for a pre-sentence report.
