Man Made Threat To Woman In Court Carpark

A man who was in the carpark of Coleraine Courthouse when he made a threat to a woman that he would damage her vehicle will be sentenced in November.

David John Gibson (33) of Mark Street in Portrush, committed the offence in May this year.

He appeared at Coleraine Magistrates Court on October 1 where it was heard that he was recently convicted of the charge in his absence. The defendant was represented by barrister Thomas McKeever.

The case has been adjourned to November for the preparation of a pre-sentence report.
