Man remanded over ATM theft in Antrim

A man appeared at Ballymena Magistrates court this morning charged with the theft of a cash machine after it was ripped from a wall with a digger at a Nutts Corner service station.

31-year-old Lee Wilson, 31, from Benview Drive in Belfast is accused of taking part in the raid at Nutt’s Corner in Co Antrim in the early hours of Tuesday.

He appeared before District Judge Nigel Broderick this morning facing seven charges connected to the incident.

Wilson was refused an application for bail and remanded into custody.
