Man Struck By Car In Coleraine

A man was struck by a car in the Captain Street Lower area at around 11.30 this morning. The car then left the scene.

A male was subsequently arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving causing grievous bodily injury. He remains in custody at present.

The injured man is being taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that are not believed to be life threatening.
