1 Mins read

A man was caught with small amounts of the drug Ecstasy and cannabis on his 19th birthday.

Corrie Ivor Samuel Gordon (19), of Cappagh Avenue in Portstewart, had £20 worth of drugs detected by police at his home on February 11 this year.
The defendant told police he was “just an occasional recreational user”.

A defence solicitor told Coleraine Magistrates Court on March 11 the defendant bought the drugs “for a party he was going to on the evening of his birthday”.

He said it was a “lesson learned” for the defendant who was fined £150.
