1 Mins read

A court has heard a man allegedly said: “I’m going to f**king kill you” before taking a swing with a golf club at a car.

The claim was made at Coleraine Magistrates Court on Friday in relation to Gary Moore (30), of Greenmount Avenue, Coleraine.

He is charged with threatening to kill a man; possessing a golf club as an offensive weapon at Athol Avenue in Coleraine and attempted criminal damage of a vehicle.
The charges relate to July 17 last year.

A police officer said they believed they could connect the accused to the charges.

The defendant was not in the courtroom when the case was mentioned and an arrest warrant was issued by District Judge Liam McNally.
