Man with Portrush address is accused of possessing cannabis with intent to supply

A MAN facing drugs charges including possessing cannabis with intent to supply has had his case at Coleraine Magistrates court further adjourned.

Jonathan David Edgar (23), of Magheramenagh Drive, Portrush, is charged in relation to January 5 this year.

He is also accused of possessing cannabis; being concerned in making an offer to supply cannabis and converting ‘criminal property, namely controlled drugs’.

The defendant is also charged with assaulting and obstructing a police officer.

The case was mentioned at the court, sitting in Ballymena, on August 24 and adjourned to this month.
