Maurice Bradley MLA Welcomes holding a number of ‘quiet Christmas’ afternoons for children with autism

1 Mins read

Maurice Bradley MLA has welcomed the events.

“This is a very positive step for Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council.

“Local children within the autistic spectrum will now be able to enjoy the experience of Christmas, I know that the noise and bustle of these events can be difficult for some children, so the fact that the ‘quiet Christmas’ is being introduced in our local town is very welcome news.

“Coleraine has been recognised as a Dementia friendly town, perhaps now is the time for our council to look into more ‘quiet’ events for children.”
