A civic reception has been held to mark the 600th anniversary of one of the oldest Churches in the Causeway Coast and Glens.
Ballyrashane Parish Church, which serves the Parishes of Ballyrashane and Kildollagh, was founded in 1417.
The Mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council, Councillor Joan Baird OBE, hosted the special event in Cloonavin recently.
She said: “I was delighted to welcome Reverend Adams and Church members to the Mayor’s Parlour to mark this historic occasion. The church has been part of the fabric for the area for generations, and it was an honour for me to be a part of these anniversary celebrations. I would like to offer my congratulations to all of those who continue to dedicate their time and efforts to the life of the Church, and I wish them the very best for the future.”
