McCandless appeals to public to engage in Ulster University Health Services Consultation

1 Mins read

There has been a relaunch of a consultation on the Relocation of School of Health Sciences. This relates to the move of courses from Jordanstown.

In 2018 Causeway Coast & Glens Councillors received a briefing from the Vice-Chancellor and Provost assuring a healthy future for the Coleraine Campus.

Independent William McCandless said “Sadly rumours and evidence have been to the contrary and we wish to see courses like this coming to Coleraine to guarantee a healthy future for the Coleraine campus.

“I would appeal to the residents of Coleraine and further afield to engage in this consultation, complete the form ( link below ) and advise your comments to demonstrate we wish these courses to be transferred to Coleraine.

“We wish to see a healthy vibrant campus at Coleraine which will attract students and not witness any further asset stripping of Coleraine being redeployed to Belfast or Londonderry.”
