McGlinchey condemns Dungiven attack

1 Mins read

Sinn Féin councillor Seán McGlinchey has said there can be no place for racism of any kind in society.

Councillor McGlinchey said:

“The local community has been stunned by reports of this attack on a man in a flat on Dungiven Main Street.

“This attack was wrong and I condemn it.

“There is no place for racism in Dungiven or anywhere in our society.

“The people of Dungiven are proud of the fact that this is a welcoming, inclusive and diverse community. We welcome those who have come to make their home here and the contribution they make to the vibrancy of the community here.

“I would call on anyone with information on this incident to bring it forward to the PSNI.”
