1 Mins read

A notice of motion proposed by Alderman Finlay, seconded by Councillor McAuley passed this evening to allow a memorial window currently residing in Ballymoney Council Chamber to be leased to Ballymoney Royal British Legion for them to display.

Alderman John Finlay said that he felt that ‘no-one made use of the council chamber and the memorial window is never seen. He went onto say that based on the advice he was given, the Royal British Legion was the best place for it to be viewed.’

Councillors voted 35 for, 1 abstention
