CHARGES of kidnapping a man; inflicting grievous bodily harm on him and stealing £500 from the man have been withdrawn against three men, a prosecutor told Coleraine Magistrates Court, sitting in Ballymena on Monday.
Jason Kennedy (31), with an address listed as Captain Street Upper in Coleraine, had been charged in relation to to December 10 last year.
A defence lawyer said the defendant is currently in custody in relation to a recall of a release licence.
Charges have also been withdrawn against two co-accused – Stephen Clyde and William Kennedy.
Stephen Clyde (28), with an address listed as Convention Avenue in Portstewart and William Kennedy (30), with an address listed as Moycraig Road, Dunseverick, had each been charged with kidnap; theft of £500 and aiding and abetting grievous bodily harm.
