MLA Maurice Bradley has praised the PSNI following a successful drugs operation in Limavady and Londonderry in recent days.

The PSNI released photographs of the drugs seized during the operations via social media.

“This operation has taken around £200,000 of illegal drugs off our streets.,” said Bradley. “Money that would undoubtedly have been used to fund organised crime which brings harm to individuals and destroys communities.
“There is no doubt that some of these substances would have made their way into our Borough.

“I must commend the police for their continued efforts to clear our streets of this substances. Even small seizures make a difference.

“Drugs are a scourge on our society. The simple message is that drugs destroy lives. I would urge anyone to report any drugs related activity to the PSNI.”
