A total of 107 coronavirus-related fines have been issued by police in Northern Ireland over the past three days.

ACC Alan Todd said: “The vast majority of people are complying with the regulations however for those that don’t we continue to take our ‘four E’s’ approach, Engage with people, Explain the restrictions and the importance of them, and Encourage them to adhere.

If after this an individual refuses to comply and won’t take that Encouragement, then we will move to Enforcement.”
