The search is on to find this year’s Miss North West 200 who will appear on the winners’ podium and on the starting grid of the country’s biggest spectator event.

Once again, Morellis of Portstewart have confirmed that they will sponsor the contest and will give this year’s winner “a holiday for two in the sun”.

Damian Morelli said of the contest, “We thoroughly enjoy the event and always admire the professionalism in which it’s presented and as a local company we’re delighted to be associated with it”.

Of course, Morellis of Portstewart contribute to the overall event in many other ways but the Miss North West 200 contest is a highlight and a much enjoyed evening.

Always a full house, this year’s contest will be held on Tuesday 9th May and the guest band are the James Peake experience.

Rumours abound of another very special guest making an appearance but details of this will follow when confirmed.

Entries to the contest are currently being sought and to enter simply send your name, address and postcode to [email protected] and an entry form will arrive in the post.

Contestants need to be eighteen years or over on 1st May 2017. Organiser Brian Moore said, “Adrian Logan and myself share the presentation of the night and we try to make the contest as much fun as possible for the girls who invariably benefit with the help it gives them in stepping onto or making their way up in the model and promotion business.

Interest so far has been tremendous and I really would advise any girl thinking about it to apply as soon as possible”.
