NIFRS called to fire at house in Bushmills

NIFRS responded to report of a fire at an end-terraced house at Huey Crescent, Bushmills at 4:25pm on Wednesday 24th August.

The power supply overhead cable arced causing the facia board on fire. The fire was extinguished by occupier on arrival of FRS.

Firefighters used two CO2 extinguishers in the incident to ensure fire safety.

A 72-year-old woman received oxygen therapy from FRS at the scene. The cause of the fire appeared accidental.

Fire crews from Portrush station attended the incident.
