North Coast : Adventures Of The Boy In The Yellow Coat

1 Mins read

A Facebook page has been gaining quite a bit of attention on the North Coast recently called ‘Adventures Of The Boy In The Yellow Coat’. The public posts are written by local man Michael Crawford detailing life on the north coast from his child’s perspective.

Speaking to Causeway Coast Community this morning Michael said ‘Initially I started the page “Adventures Of The Boy In The Yellow Coat” as a bit of fun, mainly to showcase my wife’s amazing photos of our child on the north coast,

I thought it would be fun to write a little bit, as if from my sons perspective (3year old), of each photo,

I started by posting in the community group ‘did you grow up in portstewart’.  I was quite taken aback by the positive reaction, this has since developed into requests for more stories, photos with the boy in the yellow coat and even a book.

The ethos of the page remains the same, I still want to share my wife’s amazing photos of our boy, and hopefully add a smile to any who read the stories face.’
