Local MLA Maurice Bradley has expressed his profound sympathy to the immediate family and wider family circle of the American visitor who has died following an accident at the Giant’s Causeway Visitors Centre.
Speaking to Causeway Coast Community this evening Maurice Bradley said “I believe the gentleman slipped and fell during a visit to the Centre on Tuesday, May 19.
The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service called to the scene, administered first aid and transferred the patient to the Causeway Hospital where sadly, the man passed away as a result of his injuries.
It is imperative that visitors to the North Coast are safe and feel safe.
I do not know the full details of the incident, but I’m sure there will be a full and proper enquiry into the circumstance of the accident and it would be wrong to speculate other than to offer my sincere condolences to the deceased’s family and family circle.”
