Northern Ireland Water To Carry Out Investigative Dig

1 Mins read

An ongoing problem with water run off on a public footpath along the Castleroe Road in Coleraine is to be investigated by NI Water.

Following several calls from constituents who were concerned the run off may have included raw sewerage, DUP MLA Maurice Bradley has been given an assurance from NI Water that the issue will be investigated in the coming days.
“I must commend NI Water for their quick response,” said the East Londonderry representative.
“This issue, along the main footpath, adjacent to the petrol station at Sainsbury’s, has been on going now for some time.

“I was contacted by the owners of the Riverside Regional Centre this week who have also raised concerns about the matter.

“I am hopeful that it will be resolved in the coming days,” he concluded.
