Harry a golden lab / retriever was last seen on Monday morning when he bolted from Ballycastle forest car park in the direction of Breen forest. His owner Amanda O’Halloran has described their pet as friendly and has no aggression at all to humans or other dogs or animals.
Speaking to Causeway Coast Community this evening Amanda said “The support from our local community has been overwhelming – and is on-going.
There have been no definite sightings of Harry at all and we are wondering if someone may have taken him in or hasn’t realised he is being so so desperately missed by us. We are utterly devastated.
There have been literally dozens and dozens of people out searching Ballycastle forest and Breen forest and the area in between. The farming community are all keeping their eyes peeled. Despite feeling so sad we have been buoyed up and so appreciate the support our friends – and people we’ve never met before- are giving us.
