Ongoing Incident : Aircraft In Difficulties At Causeway Airfield

The Scene at Causeway Airfield in Aghadowey, County Londonderry this afternoon where it is believed an Ultralight Aircraft got into difficulties close to the landing strip.

Causeway Coast Community understands that the pilot ‘stalled the aircraft’.

Six fire appliances and the Air Ambulance are at the scene of the incident along with the PSNI.

Two people were onboard. Their injuries are not life-threatening.

Causeway Airfield is the home of the Ulster Seaplane Association ltd,  a not for profit members club, supporting aviation operations,  air experience flights and instruction to National Private Pilots licence.
