Pizza Pomodoro to cease trading until further notice

1 Mins read

A Coleraine restaurant is to cease trading until further notice. Pizza Pomodoro situated in the Waterside of the town say that it has become ‘increasingly difficult to provide high-quality food in a fast and effective manner and at the same time adhere to social distancing guidelines’.

In a social media statement, a spokesperson for the restaurant said ;

“It had become increasingly difficult to provide high-quality food in a fast and effective manner and at the same time adhere to social distancing guidelines in the kitchen where staff are moving at high intensity and speed within closed proximity.

“Therefore we have decided for the safety of our staff and the public to close our operation until further notice.

“As most of our customers currently using the take-away facility, closing the restaurant section alone would not have changed the picture.

“The decision has been hard but hopefully will be the right one under current circumstances.

“We will look at all our options and we will make a further announcement in due course.

“We would like to thank all our customers at this difficult time and hope to see you in the near future.

“We would like to give our apologies to our customers who had already made reservations.

“We would like to thank everyone on behalf of the management.
