Police appeal for witnesses following bridge strike

Police are appealing for witnesses who were on the Millburn Road Coleraine at approximately 9:45am today.

A spokesperson said “A heavy goods vehicle towing a yellow digger, struck the railway bridge causing damage.

Police are keen to contact the cyclist who may have been behind this vehicle.

Please contact 101 quoting 578 or today’s date.”
