Police are appealing for witnesses following the report of a burglary that occurred at a care facility on the Kilrea Road in the Garvagh area.
Constable Michael Hughes said : “It was reported that between Friday 28th April and Tuesday 2nd May, entry was gained to a care facility on the Kilrea Road, Garvagh. As a result of the break in a number of tools were stolen including a 16” concrete saw, a Bosch Kango Hammer and a nail gun.
We are appealing to anyone that may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area at the time or to anyone that may have been offered similar items for sale in suspicious circumstances to contact Limavady Police Station on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 287 of the 02/05/17. Or, alternatively if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
