Police are appealing for witnesses following the theft of two lorries from a quarry on the Cam Road in Macosquin

Police in Limavady are appealing for witnesses following the theft of two lorries from a quarry on the Cam Road in Macosquin overnight last night.

The two vehicles, a white coloured Scania, VRM KN62RXC and a blue coloured Volvo, VRM PO61LOH were reported to have been stolen from the quarry sometime between 5.15pm last night and 9.40am this morning.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the theft or anyone who knows of the whereabouts of the lorries to contact officers in Limavady on 101 quoting reference number 230 of 02/03/17. Information can also be passed anonymously via the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
