Police are appealing for information after a report of burglary at a church in the Queen Street area of Ballymoney.

Inspector Anderson said: “Sometime between 10pm on Friday 19th April and around 6:30am on Sunday 21st April, it was reported that entry was gained to the property with an office in the Rectory hall ransacked. A sum of money was taken during the incident.

Enquiries are ongoing and we would appeal to anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area at the time of the incident to contact police in Ballymoney on 101, quoting reference number 363 21/4/19. Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.”
