Police are appealing for information and witnesses following a report of a suspicious approach to a 15 year old girl.

It was reported that at approximately 4.20pm on Thursday, 7 February as the girl walked towards the public toilets on Park Street, Coleraine a man tried to grab hold of her hand. She pulled away from him and left the area.

Constable Brad Delargy-Dubois would appeal to this man or anyone who witnessed this incident to come forward and speak to police, as they may have information that would assist with the investigation. Police can be contacted at Coleraine on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 1023 07/02/19.
