Police arrest man in Coleraine on suspicion of possessing a firearm or ammunition in suspicious circumstances

Police arrested a 51 year old man on suspicion of possessing a firearm or ammunition in suspicious circumstances in the Hillcrest Avenue area of Coleraine on the evening of Friday, 12th of April.

The man was released pending a report to the PPS.

Officers also arrested a 32 year old male on suspicion of possessing a class C controlled drug and possessing a class C controlled drug with the intent to supply.

He was released on bail pending further enquiries.
