Police carried out an operation in conjunction with a local nightclub to target drug abuse

Posting on social media,Sgt Michael O’Loan said “Last night officers from Coleraine Neighbourhood Policing Team carried out an operation in conjunction with a local nightclub to target drug abuse. As a result of the good work from both police and security staff 14 individuals were dealt with for drug offences and a significant amount of drugs were recovered.

A big thank you to all involved, this is another excellent example of partnership working to tackle the scourge of drugs.

The message is simple, drugs are not welcome in our towns and we will do everything in our power to bring those involved to justice.
