Army bomb teams were takes to Rasharkin last night to deal with two suspicious devices.

Homes have been evacuated in the Moneyleck Park area of Rasharkin.

It’s understood one device was thrown through the window of a property, whilst the other was left on a window ledge of another home.

Both families targeted are believed to have only recently moved to the area, but the motive remains unclear.

The security alert started at around 10pm on Tuesday.

The PSNI said several homes have been evacuated and arrangements are being made to provide emergency shelter.
