Police investigating a road traffic collision in Ballymoney on Thursday, 13 September have issued a fresh appeal for information.

Constable Finch said: “The collision on the Ballybogey Road, Ballymoney, occurred around 8.45pm. It is understood a lorry collided with two unoccupied parked cars. The driver of the lorry is being treated at hospital for a serious injury.

“Our enquiries are continuing and we now believe a third vehicle –a red-coloured tractor – may have been in the area at the time of the collision, and we are keen to speak to the tractor driver.

“I am appealing to anyone who was travelling on the road that night and could assist police with their enquiries to call police to get in touch. I would also appeal to any driver who was in the area around this time and who may captured the collision on their dash cam to ring 101 and quote reference 1248 of the 13/09/18.”
