Police launch investigation into Cornfield vandalism

1 Mins read

Police have launched an investigation following significant damage caused to Polytunnels at The Cornfield.

A spokesperson for the PSNI said ‘The Cornfield Project in Coleraine has been targeted again for Criminal Damage.

Overnight there has been approximately £2000 worth of damage to the Polytunnels and wood that had been stored at the site.

We have begun an investigation and would ask that anyone with any information contacts Police on 101 quoting reference number 757 14th November. Our NPT and LPT team will be working together to identify and prosecute the offenders and there will also be an increase in Police presence in the area.

We are exploring other tactics to assist in prevention and detection going forward. If anyone observes or knows of anyone involved in anti-social behaviour please do not challenge them and report immediately to Police’
