Portballintrae makes it onto list of UK areas where demand for holiday lets outstrips supply!

1 Mins read

New data from leading travel website www.holidaylettings.co.uk reveals that Portballintrae is included in a list of 20 UK destinations with the highest demand per home in 2016.

Booking activity from the holiday rental website, owned by TripAdvisor, shows that Portballintrae received one of the highest number of bookings per property, alongside renowned locations such as Brighton and Bournemouth.

Saskia Welman, spokesperson for holidaylettings.co.uk, said that the diverse list proves that travellers are discovering how convenient and affordable renting a home can be, whatever their destination.

“The demand in Portballintrae really demonstrates the growing popularity of holiday rentals in all sorts of destinations across the UK,” Saskia said.

“It’s proof that you don’t have to live in a penthouse suite in central London to make money letting out your home.”

As a surge of traveller interest propels demand to an all-time high, Saskia believes that local homeowners stand to earn additional income by registering with the holiday website.

“If you own a home in Portballintrae, you could really have an ace up your sleeve!” Saskia explains.

“With the new year just around the corner, it’s the perfect opportunity to generate income. Listing your home or spare room with us is easy and free.”
