Portrush Five star B and B blazing a trail yet again

1 Mins read

Blackrock B and B has been included in Boutique and Breakfast, a leading guide to the finest boutique-style accommodations in the UK.

Blackrock House’s inclusion on the exclusive online platform also makes it the only five-star accommodation in Ireland handpicked for Boutique and Breakfast’s unique collection.

Blackrock House owner Nicola Neill, who opened full time for business just last Spring, said she was delighted to have joined Boutique and Breakfast’s portfolio of select luxury properties.

“We are over the moon that we are their first five-star luxury property in Northern Ireland,” said Nicola. “Portrush is a stunning location in which to holiday and discover the breathtaking coastline, cliffs and castles along the Causeway Coast, and our new relationship with Boutique and Breakfast is a real testament to Blackrock’s high levels of excellence in hospitality and commitment to our guests.”

Since opening the four bedroom B and B in a restored Edwardian terrace, Nicola has secured a number of accolades having been named runner up in the ‘Most Promising New Tourism Business’ category at the Northern Ireland Tourism Awards 2016 as well as MADE.com’s ‘House of the Month’ Seaside Style that January. Blackrock House B and B was also the subject of a Tourism NI profile last year. More of which can be read here.

Halina Sroka, owner of Boutique and Breakfast, said, “We have been following the progress of Blackrock House’s renovation programme for the last 18 months and knew straight away they would be a perfect addition to our luxury portfolio. Blackrock House not only meets our strict selection criteria with its award-winning accommodation, but also is our first five star property listing in Northern Ireland. We are pleased to be partnering with Nicola to showcase her property, to promote the natural beauty of the local area, and to expand our reach into Europe and beyond.”
