Portrush Lifeboat Crew tasked To North Of Malin

Portrush lifeboat was launched late last night to reports of a 15 metre fishing vessel with engine failure 10 miles north of Malin

A spokesperson said “Portrush Lifeboat was launched last night at 10.52pm to reports of a 15 metre fishing vessel with engine failure 10 miles north of Malin. The ALB was on scene at 00.45 and established tow in horrendous conditions at 1.15am. The ALB is making slow steady progress towing the vessel to Greencastle.

The crew are still at sea and will be for some time.”

Crew were Mark Mitchell, Chris Dobbin, Johnny Weston, Anthony Chambers, Andy McClelland, Mark Fryer.”
