Portrush man admits being disorderly at town’s Glentaisie Park

A PORTRUSH man has pleaded guilty to being disorderly at Glentaisie Park in the town.

William Johnson (24), of Glentaisie Park, committed the offence on May 23 this year.

On the same date, he resisted a police officer in the execution of his duty.

The defendant has also admitted charges relating to August 4 this year – assaulting a police officer; resisting another officer in the execution of their duty and criminal damage to a CCTV camera and police custody cell.

Defence barrister Ben Thompson told Coleraine Magistrates Court, sitting in Ballymena on October 26, the defendant was in breach of two suspended sentences.

The case was adjourned to the end of November for a pre-sentence report.
