A MAN is charged with wasting police time by making a false report to officers that he would commit an offence.

Christopher McCrory (33), of Glendun Close, Portrush, is charged in relation to October 14 this year.

At Coleraine Magistrates Court, sitting in Ballymena on Monday, the case was adjourned to December.

The court heard the defendant is on police bail and District Judge Peter King said: “Mr McCrory would be well advised not to test the patience of the court”.
