Portstewart : Contractor appointed for Herring Pond works

Causeway Coast & Glens council has confirmed this afternoon that a contractor has been appointed to start work at the Herring Pond in Portstewart.

The work which started today should be completed by next Tuesday (weather/tides permitting).

A council spokesperson said that the work entails replacing the concrete pathway and handrail which were damaged by storms.
