Portstewart man was disorderly at Coleraine’s Railway Road

A Portstewart man has admitted being disorderly at Railway Road in Coleraine last August and assaulting a man occasioning him actual bodily harm.

William Paul (27), of Culdaff Road, also admits resisting a police officer in the execution of his duty on the same date – August 24.

The defendant appeared at Coleraine Magistrates Court on Friday March 15 where a defence solicitor said it was a case which required a pre-sentence report.

Deputy District Judge Sean O’Hare adjourned the case to April 12 saying they were “serious” charges.
