Mosside residents have been somewhat mystified by the disappearance of their Post Box, meaning that to post a letter now you have to travel to Dervock or Ballycastle.
Councillor Joan Baird of the UUP said” This issue was brought to my attention by the Chairman of Mosside Community Association and on contacting the Post Office I have been advised that the building which houses the Box is due for demolition.
The Post Office had short notice about the demolition and they are currently working with utilities and transport NI to find a suitable location for a new Post Box”.
