A PRELIMINARY Enquiry – the legal step to send a case to the Crown Court – is set to be held in mid-February regarding a man accused of attempted murder.
Gary Moore (31), with an address listed as Greenmount Avenue in Coleraine, is accused of attempted murder after an alleged stabbing.
A man aged in his 40s required keyhole surgery after being stabbed during an incident at Blackthorn Court in Coleraine around 11.30pm on July 3 last year.
Moore is charged with attempted murder of a man; possession of an offensive weapon – a knife; assaulting a woman and damaging a window and kitchen light.
The defendant appeared at Coleraine Magistrates Court on January 20 via video link from prison.
