Proposed development plans unveiled for Millstrand Integrated Primary School

Proposed development plans have been unveiled this morning for Mill Strand Integrated Primary School.

The proposed site will sit within a portion of the former catering college on the Ballywillan Road.

The objective of the project is to :

– Provide suitable education facilities to meet the curricular needs of up to 420 primary pupils living in the area currently served by Mill Strand Integrated Primary School.

– To enable a full Northern Ireland Curriculum to be delivered in a cost-effective manner in accordance with the agreed standards as set out in the Department of Educations handbook.

Mill Strand Integrated Primary School is a co-education primary school situated on Dhu Varren, Portrush. It opened in 1987 with an enrolment of 52 pupils.
