PSNI investigate social media comments after house fire

In a social media status late last night a spokesperson for the PSNI said :

“Coleraine police have been made aware of inappropriate comments that have been made via social media surrounding a Polish family who had to move from their home due to a fire.

Police would like to take this opportunity to remind social media users that anything posted can be traced and may constitute criminal offences.”
