Councillor Quigley welcomes Gradworks and staff from Edinburgh Napier University in the introduction of a new innovative degree programme to the Province.

She said, “Having recognised gaps and opportunities in the labour market, this new work-based degree programme will benefit local employers and employees in upskilling the workforce. The opportunity for organisations, employees, and academic staff to work together in solving real business challenges will produce graduates who are able to contribute to the future economic and social prosperity of the region. We are excited to bring forward this programme which offers employees the opportunity study for a degree whilst remaining in employment, reducing financial barriers to accessing Higher Education opportunities”.

Gradworks promotes and facilitates undergraduates participating in a new Edinburgh Napier University’s BA (Hons) in Applied Business which has been specially designed for the local economy.
